Come and enjoy the Marine Festival Crafts Fair on the picturesque Nanaimo waterfront. Located on the walkways in McGregor Park and the Port Authority Boat Basin. Held Friday and Saturday on Bathtub weekend from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM this crafts fair enjoys crafters from all over Vancouver Island and the mainland. While browsing there also enjoy the Nanaimo Farmers Market also held on the Friday and Saturday located in Pioneer Waterfront Plaza above and overlooking the waterfront along with the many unique year round stores located on the walkway. You're also invited to partake in the Marine Festival Food Fair just a few steps away in Swy-a-lana Lagoon and Maffeo Sutton parks on the Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Bathtub Race Sunday as well as the many display booths, Bavarian garden on the Saturday plus live entertainment on the Tim Hortons Marine Festival Stage for 4 days and fun events such as the World Championship Waiters Race, the A-Channel's Landtubbers Race along with the Kiddies Karnival and don't forget the Quality Foods Festival of Lights and Music Fireworks on Saturday and of course the Start of the World Championship Bathtub Race on Sunday morning as well as lots of other interesting things on the waterfront. Check your program for dates and times for all the events and come out and have fun.
